What We Do – Mining, Recycling, Smelting and Refining
Doe Run is active in many areas of metals production at its locations worldwide: mining; smelting and refining; and production of “fabricated products” such as radiation shields for hospitals and cancer-treatment facilities. Doe Run also operates one of the leading lead recycling facilities in the United States. It processes lead and other elements of common products including television picture tubes, computer monitors and automobile batteries.
